San Fernando Valley OG Kush is a phenotype originally descended from OG Kush (a sativa) crossed with Afghan #1, a landrace indica strain from Afghanistan. SFV OG Kush was then bred over several generations to produce this pure indica strain.

This strain is known for heavy sedating and also relaxing effects. It begins at the head and washes over the body, effectively numbing any feelings of pain. After 2-3 hours, the sedative qualities kick in, as well as hunger.

The scent is pungent with lemon, skunk and pine.
